World Vision

Many years ago, the Trailblazer Group (the young ones in the church) made a decision to support the work of World Vision by sponsoring a child through their education programme.  This continues to this day through the sponsorship of a young girl called Julianna from Africa.

Vine Trust

A group of church members went to Peru to volunteer with the Peruvian Scripture Union’s Homes for street children project through the auspices of the Vine trust.

Members of the congregation went to Tanzania to volunteer as labourers in a house building project.  Sadly, last year’s trip was cancelled due to Covid, however, members still support the work of the Vine Trust financially.

Loaves and Fishes

This is a Glasgow-based charity that helps homeless people.  Twice a year, at Easter and Harvest time, we support this good work by providing Easter eggs and canned and dried foods.  Financial help is given too.
